1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Packwalk app and website (together, "Packwalk", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Packwalk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Packwalk.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information when registering.

3. Using Packwalk

Packwalk helps you discover and join organised group dog walks. You agree to use Packwalk lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse the service, harass other users, or post harmful or unlawful content. You are responsible for your dog's behaviour and for your own safety and that of others during any walk.

4. Subscription and pricing

Users who join through the pre-launch email sign-up receive 4 months of Packwalk free. After the free period, Packwalk costs £3.49 per month, or £4.99 per month if you choose the option that includes a donation to charity. Fees may change with reasonable notice; changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. Referrals and promotions

You may receive a personal invite code to share with family and friends. When someone signs up using your code, both you and they receive one month free on the app. You can use this invite-a-friend benefit up to 6 times per year. We may change or withdraw promotions at our discretion.

6. Payments

Subscription payments are processed through our payment provider. You authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you share on Packwalk. You grant us a licence to use it within the service (for example, to display it to other users). You must not share content that infringes anyone else's rights.

8. Walks and liability

Packwalk connects users but does not organise or guarantee walks and is not responsible for the conduct of other users, their dogs, or any incidents that occur during walks. You take part at your own risk and should follow local laws and guidance on dog control and responsible ownership.

9. Termination

You can stop using Packwalk and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe you have misused the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of Packwalk after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
